I'd love for this to tour again because I heard really good things about it, and it looks like one of the better touring productions around, along with Miss Saigon, Wicked and Matilda. It is touring again Hopefully it comes back to Edinburgh or Newcastle (did it even go to Newcastle last time?) then! (But to the Festival Theatre because the Playhouse I have gripes with)

I think they will need to stunt/star cast a few roles this time in order to get people back to see it so soon.

I can never remember any of the bus stops and billboards in Edinburgh saying CHF or Sam were in it. It may have done it in the TV adverts but I can’t remember.

In Edinburgh it was sold around Les Dennis and Samantha Womack being the leads despite the fact that its the Gomez and Wednesday show, CHF isn't a name that's going to sell out the Festival theatre.

Broke my heart that it was sold around Les Dennis (who I didn’t enjoy) because of his name despite the fact that Cameron Blakely was actually the lead performer and is one of the most talented people I can name. Stunt casting sucks sometimes

I’m really hoping Scott Paige will be promoted to Uncle Fester lead, seeing as he did most of the last tour while Les Dennis was sick.

Depends. some people may decide to keep track of what he’s up to but from what I saw during the tour not many people mentioned him. When I was there the row behind me were talking about Les Dennis being the best there and they didn’t even mention him

Interesting, I was thinking about this yesterday. If the rights are out now I guess that means the 2nd tour plans have been canned.

Missed this last time around so hoping to see it next year (fingers crossed!)
Looking at seeing it in Wimbledon, I wonder if the rest of the show has been cast yet?

It is a feel good delight. As long as Wednesday & Alice Beineke are appropriately cast it’ll be great. They get the big sings and the bits that need to blow you away.

Anyone seeing this? It doesn't seem selling at all. I thought it was a popular show.

Just went to look at tickets and it appears the opening week in Woking has been cancelled and is now starting in Wimbledon the following week...

Likely, Dartford and Lowry now also off sale. Matt Ives also put a post out last night offering up work. Still on sale at ATG venues, but they have a poor record for taking shows off sale quickly

Some dates for this seem to have been moved. The run at the New Wimbledon Theatre set for later this month is now scheduled for Feb 2022.
