I've had to cancel my annual Londn theatre trip for medical reasons. I've got four shows already booked ( Amadeus, Sideshow, The Entertainer, No Man's Land) but since I live in the US, I collect tickets at the box office. I know I can get a voucher from the NT for Amadeus, but what about the other shows? Can they be resold or even given away to London friends? Thanks

Sorry to hear you have to cancel How easy it will be for No Mans Land or the Entertainer depends if you booked direct with the theatre (or the DMT or Nimax or Branagh Theatre sites) or through an agency If you booked direct, I found the box office for the Branagh season very helpful - I was able to change my tickets for different dates and in one case swap two cheap tickets for one more expensive one. They also had a returns queue for the other shows in the season although Entertainer hasn't sold out yet Not sure what phone number would take you to the actual theatre box office - perhaps someone else can advise Another thought - would your travel insurance cover this? For Southwark I don't think I've ever been asked for my credit card, just name and address, so someone else would be able to pick the ticket up as long as they can do your accent

Thanks for the advice. I did book directly through the box office so I will give them all a call. See you next year!

If you have friends in the UK would the box office convert you to a "send by post" and allow you to give them your UK friends address?
