After the roaring success of "It's ok to block", Carrie turns her attention to critisism of the arts. It's ok to enjoy stuff that's had a bad review, k? She's right of course. Well done Carrie! (What's the betting she's had a bad review though? )

Ah bless! (I can say that as I can't be bothered to watch the above clip all the way through).
I am thinking of doing a video on the subject of 'It's okay to enjoy this meal even though it has been poorly reviewed', as in 'What is it?' 'Are you sure?' etc, to which the only response is 'it's healthy, full of nutritious ingredients, and no, I didn't know that supposedly healthy foods can go grey when combined'
Hoping to get a book deal for this concept.

She doesn't really stop talking, it's quite impressive.
Hope she puts her money where her mouths is and watches at least 10 plays a year that were rated an average of 2 stars or less....cause bad acting and storytelling don't matter as long as you enjoy it, which you won't know until you've watched (read) it...

I'm so pleased she has clarified this. Now is it ok not to enjoy something that has had great reviews? I don't want to take this independent thought thing too far.

I have mixed feelings about this. On the one hand, I think we're far too harsh on her here. On the other hand, she was basically taking five minutes to say this:

Harsh how? We haven't mentioned the woman for two months. And at the end of her video she beseeches the viewer to share it and "spread it around". Because she wants to promote "her little corner of the Internet". Your wish is my command Carrie.

Your wish is my command Carrie. But she just told you to think for yourself!

I find her guilty of being insufferable, and sentence her to seeing 'Exposure! The Musical'.

She sounds like she's been having a conversation with someone, but really disagreed with them and either didn't feel able to say it at the time, or has belatedly figured out how to phrase it, and in the absence of her conversational partner, she's saying it all into the mirror. Are all her videos like this, like she's having an argument with no one?

Don't forget, her target audience via her YouTube channel or whatever is about 12, and they probably hang on to her every word. These people base their careers on blogs etc (showing my age here) live completely different lives from normal people!
As I've mentioned elsewhere, I have met her on a couple of occasions, and she is a really nice girl.
