See, I get the joke, the answer is obviously "the woman", but potternutter hasn't actually specified if her other half is a man or a lady, so just... "one of you". That'll do. (In some couples it could be "both of you" but that's going to be a much less frequent occurrence.) I mean honestly I really hope you aren't throwing accusations about casual homophobia here because come on... I made a light hearted remark based on Andrew's initial comment, and because if pushed yes I do think 'BabyMoon' is a silly phrase. And Monkey followed it up. I also gave genuine advice to the actual question.
Also FFS the phrase I used was 'one of you is pregnant' which makes ZERO assumptions about the original poster. I think it's safe to assume that both of them aren't at once otherwise OP would say so.
Honestly I'm all for inclusive language, but there's inclusive language and then there's getting on a soapbox just for the sake of making everyone else look stupid or prove how 'enlightened' you are. 'Enough' yourself.

😂😂😂 these comments have had me laughing. I think babymoon is probably an American phrase, but our family put to for Christmas to send us on a relaxing weekend before our new baby comes and we forget what relaxation is like, and called it a babymoon. Whatever you call it, we jumped at the chance!
I thought the same, being heavily pregnant I don't fancy standing in the returns queue to then be let down and probably bawl my eyes out in disappointment. I was just checking on here in case anyone knew a secret toilet flushing ministry of magic type entrance to the theatre, but alas, no joy. Thanks anyway!

This may not work for you if you want to have more definite plans for your babymoon, but there's always the Friday Forty. And it really is worth keeping checking online up to the point you want to go, as tickets really do appear sometimes - that's how I got mine. Of course, this may mean you have to arrange your plan b at quite short notice if you don't get HP tickets, but it's maybe options for you to consider?

I guess the most important thing is to be patient and I would go for the Nimax before the ATG website. |

LauraBelle (who did not vote for Donald Trump) When we got our tickets, we got in line right at the start time and picked same-day performances with not much problem. BUT, I did get a notification that my credit card had put a hold on the foreign transaction until I confirmed it was a legit purchase. I was given a transaction number by NIMAX and the tickets were being held for me for a certain amount of time (I can't remember if was 24 hours or 12 hours), but I did have to call my credit card and authorize it and then I believe I had to go back into my NIMAX account and push the transaction through again. So, you could call your credit card ahead of time and let them know that transaction will be happening. Good luck! |

Make a firm decision as to which date you are going to click on. (Obviously have a couple of others in mind if your first choice says sold out). You probably won't have a chance to compare what's available on different days. In the past people have just been asked for their date and price bracket, not their preferred area of the theatre. You are than allocated Best available. Unless you really feel you've got a bad deal you will probably not feel brave enough to refuse what you're offered but the option is there! Have a look on the Palace theatre section of the wonderful theatremonkey.com for information about where seats at each price are located. Good luck!

Hello, I would like to ask any of you who got the tickets by trying returns queue.
I have a chance to go to England for a couple of nights and the only performance day I can queue is unfortunately Sunday.
I know chance is the slimmest, but on average at what time do you suggest I should get to the ticket office?
The ticket office opens 10am so I'm thinking around 8am?
I will try friday forty and check the site frequently but I'm not expecting to succeed by them.
If you think getting Sunday ticket would be next to impossible, do tell me.
I would appreciate any advice you could give!
(Also English is not my first language so apologies for any weird grammar)

Hi all,
I've returned balcony seat C28 for tonight's performance of part two. I would disclose that this is potentially the worst seat in the entire theatre for sight lines and is really uncomfortable but if anyone is desperate to see it, go for it!!

I just thought I'd share my experience with anyone wanting to know their chances of getting a returns ticket! I joined the queue on sunday morning at about 7am, we were second in line! Others did not start turning up until half 8! By the time the box office opened at 10 there were about 15 people in the queue.A gentleman came out and told us there were no tickets at present and the show was sold out and would be out again if ant tickets became available! At about half 10 he came out and the couple at the front got tickets! At 11 he came out again and 2 seats were available we took those! They were fantastic seats in the stalls! I spoke to a lot of people in the queue and one girl said this was her 4th time getting a returns ticket! I spoke to the man at the box office he said they get about 10 to 15 returns a day for each performance! So my advice if you get there early enough and are within the first 10 in the queue your chances are pretty high! Everyone that was in the queue got a ticket on the weekend!

First time trying the Friday Forty this morning got the little wizard nearly to the end before it sadly timed out, well try again next week. Otherwise I might need to queue and see what my chances are.......In London next week, so it gives me four goes at returns.
