To put the record straight, Musical Theatre News is updated first thing every day and often several times throughout the day as more news becomes available! Don't know if you are personally connected with this website, you come across as ultra defensive? But I used this website initially to compile my list and checked against the official webstite and found several mistakes, also when I have referenced this website in the past I have found inaccurate information. Guys also remember that when they announce tours they don't announce the whole tour straight away and add venues when scheduling, logistics and when contracts and agreements gets signed. So it is more than likely you will find additional dates get added to tours. I will update the list in due course.

Just a question about Hairspray:
Does anybody know when the offical tour starts? They've announced dates around August/September so I presume it starts then or does it start before that?

Any news of cast for latest Blood Brothers tour? The narrator is someone who hasn't played the part before. It's a bit ridiculous they haven't announced the cast yet. They start rehearsals a week on Tuesday.

How can it start after that I when dates are on sale for two venues in August and September? I was wondering if that's when the tour starts or if it starts before that

Does anybody know when the offical tour starts? They've announced dates around August/September so I presume it starts then or does it start before that? It might be that the official tour starts with a gala press night in Middlesbrough in November after a lengthy preview period commencing at Wales Millennium Centre in August.

So it looks like the Hairspray tour starts next August then. I look forward to hearing who's in the cast now! Will probably find out next year

It was the Curve season launch tonight and they hinted that a well-known producer with good links to Curve (assuming Cameron Mackintosh?) will launch a tour with them maybe next year.

I had thought that might happen for a while given he launched both his recent big tours there in Barnum and Mary Poppins.

Yes that might be a good idea, however will fellow board members realise that the list has been updated?

As long as we leave the new post in place as well, we'll be able to see every time there's an update, but we'll also know if we need to check for reference, the first post will be up to date too. S'pose you could also put a little "updated on [date]" message in the first post too.

Lyn Paul is touring. Good to see a new narrator and one that isn't a celebrity.

Anyone have any inkling to what else is coming to Belfast? They're new season releases in the coming fortnight.

I had heard a while back that Rock of Ages is going out again next year, and it does appear to be on York Opera House schedule in the spring, but nowhere else yet, so not sure if that is a new tour, or a York am-dram group?
