Saw this yesterday at The Arts, where the show bizarrely returned for one day (two performances) only after a short run Above The Arts earlier in the summer. It was fantastic; I have seen the show before and found it pleasant but unmemorable, this time it was amazing. The director and talented cast seemed to get so much more out of the material and it was absolutely hilarious. I always enjoy Julie Atherton and the range of characters she got to play was impressive, Simon Lipkin was a scream and Gina Beck & Samuel Holmes fantastic too. Each of them was really funny, yet can also be poignant and moving on the turn of a dime - I thought the show worked really well. They seemed to be having a ball, there was a bit of ad-libbing and slight corpsing, which only addded to the fun. I'm sure they are all busy people, but would love this to get a longer, more permanent run - if only so I could go again myself.
