Just watching the John Wilson Proms on TV. Excellent as always. This is the first time I have not gone to see it. I just thought I had slightly o/d on JW.
What's going on with the beardy thing Julian Ovenden has got?:I am not a big fan of it have to say.
Also why do the Maida Vale singers need to hold copies of the score? They only have a couple of songs so surely they don't need the words. The soloists don't need them. Or is it to give them something to do with their hands as they have head mics?
