I cringe every time I hear Mrs Brown in Guys and Dolls sing 'If I were a salad I'd be splashing my dressing'. What are your least favourite lines?

This is a tricky one as I tend to blank on things I dislike, so it has to come down to least favourite lyrics that mar songs I otherwise love.
Right now the one that comes to mind is in It's Your Fault from Drat! The Cat! The song is an argument arranged as a duet and some lines need to rhyme not only with adjacent lines but also with the corresponding parts of the other person's section of the song, and there are places where it's clear that it was a bit of a struggle to find words that would fit. It's when the song gets to "you spared the rod and spoilt the child like rotten apple cores" that I find myself wincing.

I know it wasn't on for long so I didn't get to hear much more about the show, but I cringed when I heard an except of I Can't Sing included something about "a quaver being a cheese-based snack" [these may not be the exact words, I only heard it once].

I cringe when Javert sings about "garbage" in Les Mis. The Americanism doesn't sit well with the language used in the show up to that point.

When the British actors kept talking about candy in the remake film of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory I wanted to scream!

About half of RENT's lyrics are guff, but the title sing is the worst offender:
How we gonna pay? How we gonna pay? How we gonna lay? Last year's rent.
Rent rent rent rent rent. We're not gonna pay rent.

"And her withers whither with her". (Into The Woods).
Yes, we see what you did there. And?

Mamma Mia: "I've played all my cards, and that's what you've done too". I will never be able to hear that line without thinking of Jennifer Saunders.

How do you feel about "I don't pop my cork for every man I see" in Hey, Big Spender?

From "the Lady's Got Potential" on the the original album of Evita: "kapow, die they don't have a chance/in a fly killing world it's a major advance".
Fortunately the song was changed by the time it reached the stage. A wise decision.

Quite effervescent about it really - I like to have fun, fun, fun.

"And her withers whither with her". (Into The Woods). Yes, we see what you did there. And? I love this line. It is witty and in my opinion maybe one of his most creative and just makes me smile whenever I hear it.

Pretty much every line in "Too Much In Love To Care" from Sunset. One of my favourite shows has my most loathed song in it... Would anyone here who likes that song care to enlighten me? X

Oh, I'm also not the biggest fan of 'greasy chinks make life so sleazy' in Miss Saigon. Interesting they didn't choose to update this when they re-did all the lyrics this time round.

Just about every single line in 'Don't Like You' from The Beautiful Game.
"Don't like you. Don't like you. I don't think i like you. You're bad. You're sad. And i know nicer boys."
John You're gagging for a date, i know you're dying to meet. Mary I don't think so while there's still A dog left out on the street.

All of Gavroche's lines from "Little People" in Les Mis. No doubt it's a challenge to write musical theatre roles for kids, but... yep, I still cringe at this.
Also, "Over the Moon" from Rent.
