Not happening at Regents Park, so just Chichester to go from the previously mentioned possible transfer locations

Not happening at Regents Park, so just Chichester to go from the previously mentioned possible transfer locations Yeah, OAT's uninspiring season gets a thumbs down from me. I was thinking just the other day how LOTR could work really well at the Bridge or Soho Place. Never going to happen, but one can dream.

Chichester would have made sense last year as they had an exhibition called The Magic of Middle Earth in the museum.

Well done to the Watermill for its Whatsonstage award for Best regional production, and its 4 nominations!

No Chichester transfer either then That's a shame. Wonder what next for this show... All predictions on here didn't materialise.

It’s going to the States.. it won’t be getting a further life in the UK (for now) Anymore info? Sure. No worries. Well… ‘The States’ is the United States of America, often just named America. That is the place that this show will be next performed. ‘The UK’ is the United Kingdom. Which is where this particular show originated. It might be performed in the UK sometime But there are no plans for the immediate future

This is beyond exciting! Well done to the Watermill - can't wait to see how this collaboration evolves now! 650 seat theatre in Chicago - reasonable ticket prices too.

Even more exciting - that website says "International tour dates coming soon" as well. Wonder where it might be off to next?

Even more exciting - that website says "International tour dates coming soon" as well. Wonder where it might be off to next? Now that is exciting!!! I'm so happy that this show is getting a life beyond the UK and hope that it does just as well in Chicago as it did in Newbury! I assume it will be a new cast as well. As for this "International Tour", I assume this is a replacement for the previously announced "World Tour" that never came to fruition. I hope that this new tour will actually go ahead, but I suppose that depends on how well it does in Chicago. Hopefully we'll see a return to the UK, whether it be back to the Watermill, or at another venue (hopefully London!)

Let’s all bask in this lovely news
(Before I’m a boring old git and move it all over to International)
