I was at the Lyceum theatre today at the Meet the artists event for the National Theatre of Scotland where they were discussing & launching their work for the remainder of this year.
They revealed that Our Ladies of Perpetual Succour would play at the National Theatres Dorfman theatre later this year. Saw this at last years Edinburgh Festival. All I can say is London's in for a treat.
It is based on Alan Warner's novel The Sopranos.

Fully agree, the best musical I saw last year (well it's a play with music really) beating anything in the West End.

I've heard great things about this one, I'm definitely going to have to overcome my aversion to the Dorfman to see it.

I'm filled with regret over not seeing this in Edinburgh last year - hoping that I can find a way to fit it in to a London trip now.

Just spotted that this is paying a brief visit to Dundee in July. Looks like a trip north is in my future.

So, have any Board members seen the Dorfman production?

I saw this at Yale Rep earlier this summer -- very entertaining and am glad I made the trip up!

There is a thread on this already in the play section, which I started, so maybe a merger here needed?
so could be merged into this one, as this one was started first.

Don't merge into the musicals forum, it isn't a musical (it's a play with music, which I mentioned early on in the thread). That's why everyone is commenting on it in the plays thread.
