"Celebrity" wise, if it opens on 24th January, they'd need to start rehearsing on January 2nd at the latest (surely even Bill wont rely on 2 weeks?)... so this really needs someone who isn't doing panto!

One week of rehearsals in December, Christmas off, then back in Jan. Opens 12th! (in Bromley). Think some ensemble casting is still ongoing, but not sure about Eva. Would've thought they'd have got it sorted by now!

Unless they bring back someone who performed it recently... Madalena Alberto?

Tell that to Kenwright!!! Don't think I'm exaggerating (too much) when I say that his shows like Blood Brothers & Joseph rehearse for even a shorter amount of time. Heard a couple of names bandied about for Eva (Madalena wasn't one, not to say she won't be!) but I guess an announcement can't be that far away.

Yes, Kenwright has been known to launch a tour of Blood Brothers (admittedly with cast who have played roles before) with just 4 days rehearsal!!

I'd be all over that one for sure but for some reason, I don't think she'd do it again.

No! For once I'm gonna hold off until I know who exactly the 'star' casting has whipped up for us. If it's Pellow...well you know how I feel about him. Madelena Alberto as Eva for me was just magical so I'd hate to spoil my memories of her by seeing (potentially) some numpty having a go.

I regularly book tickets for shows before knowing who I'll be seeing but not this time!

It is - rehearsals start a week tomorrow I believe so if they don't announce before then, it'll probably be not long after!

Still no updates on cast yet? My other half wants to see it at the Lowry but I'm holding off booking as I really don't want to see it if Pellow gets cast again
