I currently live in the Groundhog day recording. Also I'm singing "Listen" and "One Night Only" with choir so those two on repeat (to the point I question my life choices)

I gave Dear Evan Hansen a go yesterday, seemed nice enough. It's mostly been Groundhog Day here as well but having made a reference to [title of show] the other day, I suspect that'll have to come out before long...

I'm also having Groundhog Day on constant repeat. I love it soooooooooo much!!! Also loving the Freaky Friday musical studio cast recording and the new In Transit cast recording, too. I was initially underwhelmed by both Dear Evan Hansen & Come From Away cast recordings. DEH is now growing on me and I haven't revisited CFA yet. Not as recent, but Disaster! is one of my favourite cast recordings of recent years, too. Also feeling a little let down by the Bette Midler Dolly recording, it feels quite flat. Tried listening to A Bronx Tale OBCR but stopped after Act 1, really samey and couldn't get into it. Was surprised considering it's Menken & Slater!

I have the original French & British ones & French DVD. Thanks will have to see about it. It's pretty good. I actually just saw the show on Saturday in Geneva! Quasimodo is practically a made in Italy version of Garou. Frollo is the same guy on every recording, and he's great. Phoebus isn't as good as Patrick Fiori or Steve Balsamo, but he's serviceable. Esmeralda is a great singer, and she unlike her predecessors, actually belts and does not have this nonsense breathy-style singing. |

Kinky Boots (now that Brendon Urie is playing Charlie on Broadway I just had to), Hamilton, Dear Evan Hansen (+ the songs in the musical episode of Once Upon a Time, they're really good for a tv show)

Happy to see people mention Dogfight, I find it a much more ambitious score from Pasek & Paul than Dear Evan Hansen.

Past couple days I've been listening mainly to the released song "Letters" from Great Comet on repeat - I didn't like the song that much when I saw the show but I LOVE it now!
Other recent soundtracks I've been into have been Falsettos, Ordinary Days and Dear Evan Hansen (which was my go to for a while to relax in the evenings).
