I paid £68.25, but I presume that’s the price without the booking fee. Most of the Stalls seats were that price, apart from some premium seats and some at the back.

Booked for the matinee as its a work day on Monday and I've already run out if annual leave. Prices quite reasonable to be honest.

Why am I suddenly very in my feelings about this and wondering if I should book the evening show as well now? 😂

How does a concert version of this work though - when the whole USP is the puppets and sesame-street style set?

Booked front row for the matinee. It’s unusual for me to book these concerts so early, but Avenue Q is such a fun show. Are all the front row tickets sold out or are they held back for DMT members?

Ahhh this is exciting. My favourite ever show and I remember all the hype around it when it opened in 2006. Simon Lipkin as Nicky/Trekkie is one of my all-time favourite West End performances and it inspired me to start doing amateur dramatics, and I ended up playing Nicky/Trekkie twice myself!
It's a shame that Clare Foster's not returning, though. And I think Sion Lloyd had some... Concerning opinions during lockdown that hopefully aren't causing too much awkwardness.
Hoping to make a rare trip down to London to catch this!

Are all the front row tickets sold out or are they held back for DMT members? It looks like this has sold incredibly quickly. When I booked (before 10am), almost every seat was available. I've also logged in to check, and I see the same availability as through the main link.

I love this show but I’m a bit hesitant because of the sound design / concert aspect.

Interestingly, apart from a few seats with some ridiculous "packages" to justify a higher price, it's a lot of the "cheap" tickets left for this (Grand Circle especially) which makes me think they priced it perfectly i.e. Even the premium stall seats weren't out of reach for most fans. Refreshing to see.
I personally can't wait to see this again, and with this cast too. One of my favourites during its original run. I'm almost certain they'll bring the set (or at least A set) out of storage (it was erected fully for engagements like the Royal Variety back in the day) and it will end up being heavily staged. The staging was never THAT complex in the first place, and some of it will be in the performers' muscle memory.
I think it will be a very nostalgic evening.

Would love to see this, adored that cast and show first time round, but not paying loads of money for a concert that will likely have bad sound quality.

Considering its been on sale for just a few hours it's sold so well. I can see this selling out. Shows we all love a bit of nostalga, filth and puppets.

Quite excited by this. I somehow discovered the Broadway cast album on YouTube and used to play it quite a lot, and even bought the script book too. But I never saw it in London, only when Selladoor toured it.
Not bothered about a set, as long as they have a puppet and do the voices.

Jon and Simon had the puppets and did a full performance song with in them as a encore at Jon's recent concert so they are already getting back into it. Simon did make comment they were older and their arms were hurting while Giles was making a speech praising Jon and he and Jon were holding the guys up. The puppets did seem to be in very good condition so must be looked after well in the puppet rest home.

Wonder if this concert was already in the planning when they performed.

Couldn't make that night. Would love to see this so a few months run though in one of the smaller theatres.

Not much availability yet. I'm trying to decide if it's worth getting one of the remaining seats in the Grand Circle. Feels like being too far away might miss out on some of the enjoyment. I love this show though, I was recently graduated when it came out and man did it hit home.

I see both performances have now sold out apart from a few VIP seats in the dress circle. Wondering if they were expecting it to sell so fast.

Missed out too... gutted!
Hoping as said that the demand is worthy enough for a second night.
