Disney have leased Drury Lane? They leased it for 5 years, so they have approx 2 years left on the exclusivity once Frozen is done Oh interesting, guess that means a Disney show is a bit more likely post Frozen/Elf

Has this been cast? Or casting? CHF has said she’s been to a photo shoot for something she’s involved in in 2025 and ‘we’ll collectively pee ourselves with excitement’ when we find out what it is. This is hot theatre news at the moment. Any guesses? Manford and Fletcher again? They are aiming higher than CHF and Jason Manford FFS 🤣 Thank the theatre gods for that. Don’t see the appeal personally but they seem to wheel her out any time they need a stunt cast. I want to see fresh talent. Not just those who have a huge following (on paper anyway) 😉

I’d love to see/hear Celinde Schoenmaker play Jenny Lindt…and maybe Jamie Muscato as Zac Efron.

I’ve only seen Celinde in Guys and Dolls so maybe she has other sides to her voice that I haven’t seen but to me she’d be perfect as the “real” Jenny Lind i.e. an opera singer, but Never Enough is basically more of a pop song as sung in the film so I’d see more of an Elphaba-type “beltress” in that role? Someone who can do light and shade obviously not just a belter but more of a pop voice.

I’ve heard who is attached to this. Tickets will sell if this UK gentleman is really signed up … he definitely can sing 🎶 & act 🎭 🏆 Tom Holland?

Luke Evans would be a good fit.

It doesn’t need a star name, but it certainly wouldn’t hurt to help launch it.

Surely Biggins must be in the running.

Oh god Luke Evans or Jason Manford, not sure which is worse lol
I thought they were going the 'show is the star' route but who knows now.

Luke Evans would be a good fit. Oh I do hope not. I just can’t stand watching him, whether onTV or stage

Oh I didn't realise people didn't like Luke Evans 😂 I've always enjoyed him in things I've seen him in (and he was great fun in Backstairs Billy so can do stage!)

Haha everyone has their different tastes.
I find him a bit like Manford, he can sing but a bit limited/same in everything on the acting front and kinda annoying as a personality

Jason Manford couldn't do it anyway as he's touring his new stand up show from late 2024.

Starting to realise we are lacking in leading men with any name recognition 😆

We don’t even have any new cross over ‘easy listening’ stars either though do we? Would Gary Barlow or Robbie Williams be interested? It needs a Groban type, of which we have none.
