It will play for two performances at Theatre Royal Drury Lane on 19 and 20 August 2024 to celebrate the show's 80th anniversary. Tickets will go on sale at 10am on 19 April.

No disrespect to either of this performers and supporting cast but just what the West End needs right now- another concert!

I like them both but am sighing… I love the piece too but after the reworked version only just finishing recently and we had the gorgeous John Wilson recording, this does feel a little underwhelming. When I saw the Fourth Wall tweet last night, I was hoping it would be a Jennifer Hudson concert… Choreography by Bill Deamer should be exciting and will be lovely to hear the original orchestrations in this gorgeous building so hopefully the sound design will be good too

I've not heard of Phil Dunster as never seen Ted Lasso but have seen Zizi in several shows and she is a true triple threat. Love Oklahoma, last time I saw it was the John Wilson Proms one which was fantastic. I'll definately book for this as it will be lovely to hear it played by a biggish orchestra and I've seen a few Forth Wall concerts and they are always excellent.

This is really exciting to me. I love Dunster so much. And getting to hear the score with a FULL orchestra instead of a 7 piece band like that last revival will be thrilling.

Again I don’t get all the hand-wringing about a concert. You’re not getting this instead of full run. You’re not going to be getting a fully staged Oklahoma! any time soon.
This is a great opportunity to light up a dark theatre for a couple of nights and a chance to hear this score with a full orchestra which you didn’t get with last year’s revival.
I can’t say I’m interested in this one but I see the merit of these.

It only finished its run 6 months ago. Yes but this is a "proper" version with an orchestra and not 2 men, a guitar and someone banging a cooking pot! And singing the songs as they were written.

I've really enjoyed some of the recent concerts. Get a good starry performer, giving it their all for one/two nights rather than a run .. Monday night in London hotels are very much cheaper .. occasionally a show I don't know, or a show I love that isn't currently running. A theatre that'd normally be dark that night. I'm in favour.
Phil Dunster did a bit of a number on the Christmas Hannah Waddingham show - and I *freaking love* him in Ted Lasso. I've seen Zizi in several shows. Well staged it'll be a treat, I think.

Just had to check that it wasn’t Phil Dunphy from Modern Family.

Great news about the Tuesday matinee as that day is a bit slim for afternoon shows at present. Pleased also they had the confidence to announce it at the start of the booking period, rather than an add on later giving people more choice of when to see it and saving on a hotel room. After their success with producing love never dies concert last year have high hopes for the standard to remain strong and at least we know fourth wall previous productions have been rehearsed beforehand. Just hope the bag of bare bones production of Oklahoma last year has not put people off the show.

Got my link (from London Musical Theatre Orchestra) at 9.59, which took me to LW Theatres website. Queue less than a minute, Tuesday matinee booked by 10.03.
Very expensive as these shows always are to start ( I paid £128 for stall front row) but there's usually reductions near or on the day(s) at least for the matinee.

Holy cow the prices.
Says my email came in at 9.59 but it's only just arrived in my office email inbox. Still hasn't arrived in my personal email inbox.
Booked for Monday and am on beans on toast for a month.

Concert ticket prices TB klaxon!!!!!!
#Shocked&Appalled
(Ok ok, seriously for a sec, there does seem to have been a hike in certain areas. Front side central aisle is where I like to sit for TRDR concerts and is usually 90-100 ish - £128 for this! Maybe it's gonna be incredible IDK)

Prices aren’t as obnoxious for this as I was expecting and yes Fourth Wall Live are a more secure producer. I expect we’ll see a few more names announced in the weeks and months leading up to August
