In the ticket info it says general sale is 9 may, not 9 April. And I'm not sure what 'Protected' means in front of the title of the show. I suspect maybe something to do with placeholder during Web design phase?
They also usually email the mailing list early in the morning when a new show is announced, nothing as yet.

Protected in this context usually means private or password protected. It will be automatically added by the content management system they're using when content within a page is set to private. The show overview within the page was password protected when I looked earlier. They certainly seem to have made a mess of publishing it! |

The Menier really is fast becoming the theatre not to go to, isn’t it? It was losing points but this sounds like a perfect fit (Forbidden Broadway works so well there). so hopefully this can turn its fortunes around |

This is a nice short run, and seems to be a cheap ticket by Menier standards (although I would hope so, seeing as it is a revue). Probably to fill a gap before they finally announce that Baker's Wife run in summer?

Why has the Menier lost its mojo? Everything seems to be papering and just not getting much buzz. It seems a long way off from its glory days of multiple transfers to the glittering West End.

Agreed, and it’s not just about not offering meals - the closing of the restaurant means it’s felt very empty and unwelcoming at my last few visits. Used to be vibrant and exciting to walk into. Now you walk into a large, cold room which feels almost like Covid times with nowhere to sit, chat or linger and no atmosphere. As if they don’t want you there! As a result it just isn’t somewhere with the same buzz about it. A shame because it used to be such an exciting venue, and it could reignite that quite easily. This revue does feel a bit cheap though, especially with no star names attached at the announcement. Willing to be proven wrong as I do love the music included in the original! |

It's sounds very hastily thrown together.

Pacific Overtures sold out so people still are going to the Menier for the right show. I do wonder if they would benefit from a new AD and have David Babani in a more business oriented role. |

I just looked at the Menier website and was quite taken aback:

If that hasn't been written using AI then I think whoever composed this stuff needs to hand the task of writing copy over to someone else. Unless of course it's supposed to be humorous (which I doubt0.
