Disappointing choice when there's already a tour of Little Shop of Horrors happening this year.

Disappointing choice when there's already a tour of Little Shop of Horrors happening this year. It’s a very small tour (so far, as far as I know). I don’t think Sheffield audiences are going to be influenced by what’s on in Bolton, Windsor or Hull. They’ll probably just go and see it in their local theatre.

I was looking at it from a more selfish perspective as someone seeing the tour in Bolton but who won't now be making what's usually an annual visit to the Crucible this Christmas.

Think there's room for both. I've booked to see it at Bolton but will be giving the Sheffield production a visit too.

I'm seeing it in Hull (always nice to visit a theatre that was integral to my growing up). As this will be about my 6th Little shop I doubt I'll see it in Sheffield, but I have seen a lot there over the years

In some possible early casting news for Audrey II, Theatreboards very own BurlyBeaR and TallPaul are rumoured to be in talks to play the plant on a rota system. Any truth to this rumour gents?

I'm looking forward to seeing what the Crucible with its trick floor can do with the plant.

Not allowed to talk about it at this point, you’ll understand david. Theatre theatre theatre, dear heart! I’ll just say we’re very very excited about *something* . 🌱 🪴 His Nibs is practicing shouting Feeeed Meeeee but struggling with this not being at Donny Market on the date expired Fondant Fancies stall.

Don't believe a word of it, our david. What may be the dealbreaker is BurlyBeaR's insistence on a chauffeur driven limousine transporting him to and from MCR. Thinks he's too important to travel by train! 😉

An ensemble! I'm hoping all the harmonies are gonna sound beefy with all these extra people. Unfortunately wouldn't ever be able to make the trek for it so will hope it's good and wish that cast the best.

I’m looking forward to seeing Georgina Onuorah in something after reading much about her on here over the last couple of years. However I’m slightly concerned about the design/costumes seeing as this is now the official artwork on Sheffield Theatres website.

From the song they've released it sounds like they're using British accents...

It sounds very odd with the Essex accents. Half the time they're singing "Better" and the other half it's "Be'er".

I'm interested how they are going to stage Audrey II. Rehearsal images gave nothing away at all. One thing we know about the Crucible is that they don't like to go traditional!!
