Hate to sound like a broken record .. But...
That'll be the Best Actress Olivier sewn up then.
Helen mcCrory won't win- her performance wasn't good enough. Cannot wait to see Imelda in this.. It will be another definitive performance

February 17th 2016 was the beginning of this Olivier year, it will run for "approximately 12 months", so should really end on February 16th 2017, almost a full week before this even begins to preview. In 2013, The Audience opened on March 5th, which was the last day of the 2012-2013 season. It would be s t r e t c h i n g it somewhat for this to get into consideration. But if it's good enough, it'll still be remembered 9 months after it closes. She managed that feat with Sweeney Todd, after all.

I rarely go and see plays, but I will definitely be booking for this. Imelda Staunton can have all my money!

Just had an e-mail, priority booking is now open ! The bastards of ATG didn't inform me about ATG Card Priority Booking for it. But found out by looking at website. 15 Pound Tickets in the stalls sorted out! Hope my friend won't have problems with the restricted legroom because she is tiny.

I don't feel super enthused about this (come on, guys, there are other Albee plays) but I've grabbed a £10 preview ticket. There's time to change my mind, whether about my enthusiasm levels or about my decision to go, so hey.

Yeah, there are other Albee plays, but none of them match up to this. It's renowned as his masterpiece for a reason. I've booked the bargain stalls row C seats for 2nd preview and again for midway through the run.

Yes booked the bargain row C seats too...I am quite small so can sit near pillar and I reckon most of the "action" will be pretty central on the stage!

Also bagged a £10 Dress Circle seat for the first Saturday matinee on the 4th. Been my absolute dream to see this performed live for a while (George is one of my dream roles), and Imelda Staunton as Martha should be a sight to behold.

How are you able to book the row C seats? Do you have to have an ATG card? Thanks

It's only four seats in row C of the stalls, at the very edges, that are available for a cheap price. You just need to get in there before anyone else does.
