I was at the Jeremy Jordan show last night and he said Frank Wildhorn told him a few weeks ago it's coming here next year. He did say London but I think that was quoted for wonderland too and that ended up being a tour.

I can only hope and pray, this is one of my favourite scores out there, I would be so excited if this came over! I'd guess somewhere like the Southwark Playhouse if it comes, it has a way of turning unsuccessful Broadway musicals into successes, at least onstage and I think a lot could be done with this. I can see it becoming a lot more of an intimate piece.

The Sun reports that Caroline Flack has been offered the lead role of Bonnie in a West End production of Bonnie & Clyde late next year.

Last I heard Jeremy was also doing it…sounds as though he was playing coy at this concert!

I was at Jeremy's concert too. Although he said it was coming I didn't think he specifically said he'd be in it.

I can't prove this but I was on The Other Palace's website earlier and they had both Bonnie & Clyde and Heathers: The Musical listed. They're not there anymore. When you clicked on more info nothing came up. However, they were both listed as playing at the studio space, not the main space, and only for a week or so each. So maybe concert versions? I don't know. EDIT: I found the pages in my history, just to show that you don't get an error message: theotherpalace.co.uk/whats-on/bonnie-clydetheotherpalace.co.uk/whats-on/heathers-the-musical

Yep - definitely on at The Other Palace this summer. In the Studio 19th Jun - 1 Jul.
Apparently meant to go on sale from 24th April according to the person at the Box Office the other night.
I've been waiting to see this show for ages so very excited about this! Even if it isnt a 100% full production.

Yep - both Bonnie & Clyde and Heathers are part of the Work In Progress scheme - a residency at The Other Palace to workshop the shows, with private and public showings in the studio. It's in the brochure: issuu.com/theotherpalace/docs/top_brochure_feb_jun_complete/20
You can see the performance dates for each, but it's not confirmed yet which will be public showings. Even though these are only workshops, it's surely a good sign that there's a desire to bring these shows to the West End, possibly in The Other Palace itself.

I know a fringe producer was trying to get the rights for Heathers, had meetings arranged in NYC. They were supposedly very protective of the rights so this is a very good sign/

I wonder why they're so protective of the rights, isn't the show available for amateurs and semi-professional in the US? Let's get really this won't be picked up by a major West End producer- Southwark Playhouse is as good as it'll get for it.

Indeed, it's not as if Heathers was any kind of a hit in New York or anywhere else. For a composer of Laurence O'Keefe's quality it's a very disappointing score.

Lord knows. A fringe producer had an agreement to do it if another show they put on by the same composer was done well and well received. It was not, and thus the show didn't come over then. This was not the same producer that went over to NYC in the last year to negotiate rights. Apparently the rights holders wanted them to use the Off Broadway director, but this producer want to convince them to pick a Brit they had had success working with before. So this could have gone well, with either director, or someone totally new, or even the original producer who attempted to get the rights as they have rather strong links with the St James...

Ahhh, I so wanted to see this but I'm seeing Green Day on the 1st and work is in the way of the other dates. I'd loved to know who's going to be singing the roles. Wonder when they'll announce it. Very exciting nevertheless, this is one of my favourite cast albums to sing along to! So jaunty!
