Public booking is well underway. I've nabbed a frontfacing stalls seat for Committee. Eagerly anticipating it!

I got tickets for all three shows - cheap ones - but then there was a problem at the paying section - wouldn't recognise my email address, so lost them all. Also really wanted to see Committee, so may try again later and only book for that.

I can confirm at least some of the £10 circle seats are available to book up front (thank goodness, 'cos I don't fancy paying more than a tenner for any of these, also £20 was an extreme rip-off for those seats!), so I presume the £10 weekly release seats will be the £10 circle seats not currently available for sale, or possibly just an array of anything that remains unsold when Mondays roll round.

Well, that was remarkably painless - just got £10 circle seats for the whole lot.

I decided to push the boat out and pay for stalls for Resistable Rise and Committee. I've been spoilt by Front Row - not sure if I can go back to the rear circle!
My Christmas present to me.
If they're rubbish, I won't do it again.

All pretty painless. I went for 'Committee . . ' and 'Limehouse'. Not that keen on Lenny Henry and not bothered about the play either. Having said that, if they suddenly confirm Marc Elliott as one of the cast, I'll be on it like Mariah Carey and the Forbes Richest Billionaires List.

Booked all 3, the seats I wanted. Did find ATG slow to log in and pay, but it worked. Kudos to ATG. I hadn't clicked the membership route for Uri, and didn't want to lose the seat, so got charged a fee. Rang them, got a refund AND told that there was a membership renewal offer started that morning (renew by 24th December) that would give me 15 months for the price of 12. As I was going to renew next week anyway, I'm glad I made that call LOL. Great deal indeed, theatremonkey; just a question though, please, about ringing ATG: one or two others have mentioned doing this but I have given up since they blocked all the geographic numbers which used to function as a cheaper workaround for their wretched 087s - which even members had/have to ring. So have you found a "normal" number on which to ring them, or did you bite the bullet and ring the premium one?

Bear in mind though we don't know how many seats they are keeping back for Young & Free and the Monday release scheme. Still unclear whether the Monday release is £10 seats or "seats from £10" as I've seen conflicting messages in updates from the Donmar.

"The Donmar taking back its lease from the Ambassador Theatre Group in 2017 It’s quite a big moment for us. We have our own box office for the first time. We have control of the products that are served, how it looks, the pricing, all in a way that we’ve never had before." I propose that they serve cheeseboards.

The Donmar bought their lease from ATG during the Grandage years , it'll be the first time in its history that they own the building outright rather than pay rent to ATG

The internet booking went weird for me and the gal on the phone at the development office sounded v pleased to be getting control of the booking.

I had a similar problem and the development office rep said "thankfully the next booking period won't be with ATG so we won't have these problems"
The cynic in me thought they might have a whole new set...

Heck of a cast announced for Ui: Michael Pennington, Tom Edden, and Giles Terera, Philip Cumbus, Lucy Eaton, Lucy Ellinson, Simon Holland Roberts, Louis Martin, Justine Mitchell, Gloria Obianyo and Guy Rhys. Glad I have a ticket. You've still got to put up with Lenny Henry though. Every silver lining has a cloud . . .

Hey, I've enjoyed what I've seen of Lenny Henry on stage. Helluva rest of the cast though, I'm glad I booked now. I wasn't going to bother initially, but apparently I know what's best for myself.

Is there any chance of them doing a NT Live for Ui? Kind of intrigued to see some more Brecht now after the Threepenny Opera last summer!

I think Ryan and I were kidding around, Baemax and herculesmulligan. Don't worry, he was the main reason I was curious to see it . The rest of the cast are a real bonus, though. Speak for yourself TM! I think he's dreadful! :-)

The Way Of The World, Bellville & The York Realist. I'm interest in the first & third plays. What do people here think of the season?

What in particular about the second play puts you off, out of interest?

"Way of the World" is a bit of a rarity these days, don't think I've ever seen it and it's therefore welcome. It's unclear at the moment if they will be inflicting a "radical new version" of it on us or if it will be done conventionally.
