Just a quick note - I have fed back to them directly but thought I’d post a quick message here too.
Having been going to the Donmar for a long time now, I have had nothing but great experiences dealing with them. Their box office are the best in the business, endlessly accommodating, efficient and friendly.
My original ticket for Next to Normal had to be transferred due to the postponement, they bent over backwards to find the best date/ticket combination for me, proactively contacting me by both phone and subsequently email within 24 hours. I had a second ticket for October which I can now sadly no longer use, and they quickly and easily gave me the ticket price back as a credit (minus £1 charge). No fuss, quality service every single time.
Bravo to the team at the Donmar for their sterling work over the decades, the leading light in customer service experience in London theatre.

You wait 50 years for a play about Nye Bevan and the NHS and then two come along at once.

I quite like Benedict Andrews. His version of Three Sisters at the Young Vic was the only successful Chekhov updating I’ve seen.

Good season there. I'll try for all three. Nothing which will sell out instantly like Macbeth though

I actually think The Human Body will sell out very quickly as I would say Keeley Hawes is on the same calibre as David Tennant. I for one am sold on her name.

Keeley Hawes returning to theatre is a big win especially considering what happened on her last show.
Jack Davenport's last theatre appearance was 2006!

Only interested in the Keely and Jack show.. shall be booking I know Keeley and Jack don't have the same fame status as say David Tennant but he's done a fair bit of theatre in the last few years so the fact it's both their first stage shows in quite some time and that's weirdly make it more exciting to me.

I'd like to see all of these - for slightly different reasons for each production. RIP my bank account, I guess...

I like the Lucy Kirkwood I've seen so that's a pretty definite from me (what happened to Keeley Hawes last time?). I could even do it as a double bill with Nye.... I've seen the Cherry Orchard six times so I'm not in a hurry to see it again (though if the Simon McBurney one came over from ITA I would go). As for the American thing, well, it had great reviews in the US but I feel I've seen so many US plays recently that came over garlanded with plaudits and which only really hit 3 stars, if that, for me. Camp Siegfried, White Noise, A Doll's House Part II, anything by Annie Baker. I'll wait for reviews on here and then get a standing for that, I expect.

To cut a long story short, Keeley Hawes left the production of Barking in Essex a few weeks before it was scheduled to close and it was rumoured it was due to her falling out with Sheila Hancock who was also in it.

I wanted to see The Human Body, but due to my own forgetfulness (and I’m sure although I signed up, I didn’t get a ‘on sale at xx’ email from the Donmar) I’ve missed out on tickets as their website now says sold out. Any info or experience on how easy it is to get returns / extra ticket releases here please?
