Oh this is lovely news. Can never have enough Bacharach in London. Shame this couldn't have run concurrently with Close To You!

I saw this on Broadway also, which was a big Broadway production. Turkey Lurkey Time and Basketball are one of the stranger things you see on a stage, but this time strange is very enjoyable, they need top notch choreography to pull this off.
Has 3 top notch songs, now looking forward to this more than Side Show.

Surely Burt doesn't need to bother 'announcing' it now....

I wonder if they will plug in Say A Little Prayer for You as they did on Broadway. I still think Betty Buckley's "Knowing When To Leave" is the best version of this song. Gosh she must have done that in London in the late 60s.

I wonder if they will use the Revival production version or the original production version?

Looks like it's the revised version according to this - www.londontheatre1.com/news/141617/promises-promises-at-southwark-playhouse/"A 2010 Broadway revival starring Will & Grace’s Sean Hayes and Wicked star Kristin Chenoweth, included two additional Bacharach-David songs, I Say a Little Prayer, a 1967 million-selling hit written for Dionne Warwick, and A House Is Not a Home – and they will also be in the new London production"

A moment of real excitement!

Ethical dilemma - The Sheffield production left me cold, I can't listen to the CD as I find it it but boring but now Paul Robinson is cast and he is really hot. What do I do ?!!!

Yes just got back from it. Really enjoyed it. Great cast especially Gabriel Vick in the lead. Clever staging using graphics and sets that slide in and out. And you can't beat a score by Burt Bacharach. It's a real gem. 2 hours 50 mins and seating on 3 sides.of.srsge

Such a smashing little show with the two cutest leads in town. Needs about 20 minutes cutting tbh, which I presume they'll manage by press night.
