I have also seen a couple of other 3.5 star reviews via other bloggers, and they are literally re-iterating what has been said by myself and others on here. I am very intrigued to see the more 'formal' reviews say if/ when they come through. |

Diane Bourne was tweeting from outside the Opera House last night so presumably a review for the Manchester Evening News is coming soon. Saw this today and the audience response was through the roof. I don't know whether this is a Manchester "thing" but the energy was palpable.
The show is pure commercial 'party' fun. They definitely know their audience and how to 'sell the sizzle'
Act 2 is stronger than Act 1. Production values are high with some great visuals and clever LED screen usage. Jess Folley & Todrick Hall steal the show.
Will be interesting to see what tweaks they make ahead of an almost guaranteed West End transfer.

Yes. I wonder if they’ll send it out to a couple more of the larger ATG regional houses whilst they’re in a holding pattern for something better.

Looks like dynamic pricing has kicked in for Glasgow. Just managed to get a single seat priced at £85 for other dates for £25 for next Friday evening’s performance.

I said this a while back and I’ll say it again- I think this will be commercial hit when it transfers to the WE. It has local and tourist appeal. Also a big appeal for people across age groups.

Having read of the reviews both on here and from the critics from the Manchester run has got me interested to see this. With a nice bit of dynamic pricing bagged a £45 Circle ticket for a Sunday show in Manchester next month. I am hoping this will be better than Moulin Rouge.
