Very little info about it. I've registered for presale as I love the music and it will be great to hear it played with a big orchestra. It's says "stars of stage and screen" so hope there will be some good names.

I think the OP wants to know who’s casting it, rather than who has been cast!

80th anniversary for (of) what? Presumably the first production of Oklahoma! in 1943.

Would it be too much to pray for Kelli O’Hara to headline this? Very much the premiere R&H interpreter in the same way BP is for Sondheim methinks

Would love that - also it won't happen but imagine getting Julie Andrews to host it

Great idea for Dame Julie to host it but I noticed she was pictured the other day in the Hamptons in NY walking with a cane and looking a bit older but still have that serene elegance about her and was instantly recognisable. She is 88 in a few weeks time too so I don't see her doing a lot of long distance travelling for none personal reasons unless it was some gala in her honour.
Her 90th is only two years away so hopefully she will still be in good form then as I'm sure there will be a few events to mark that.

Is it worth buying presale tickets for this? Any rumour of names involved?

Ive just booked presale tickets for this and prices are as follows.
Stalls £166.70 and £85.70 - there are also some all singing/dancing tickets for £242 Royal circle almost all are £166.70 Grand circle £85.70 and £57.70 Balcony £57.70 and £40.70
Looking at the seating plan on LW theatres there are big chunks not on sale which I presume have been allocated to Myticket.co.uk who also have a presale today.
When speaking to box office this morning they did not have any names but, at these prices, I am hoping for some good ones.
Anyway glad I booked as I am hoping it is going to be a lovely evening especially if there is a decent size orchestra

Would you be able to share the LW presale link here or via private message? Thanks!

The whole of the Royal Circle is £166.70 and only the back three rows of the stalls are £85.70. In the Grand Circle just a few £57.70 seats, otherwise again £85.70. I'm going to wait for the casting.

Looking at the seating plan after it went on general sale today they need to give us some cast names soon if they want to shift seats.

I booked. Very expensive, but it’s got a 40 piece orchestra, a choir, dancers and “international stars of the stage and screen.”
Even if the headliners turn out to be people I’m not familiar with, it be should be worth it just to hear the music played by that many musicians.

Anyone have any clue or ideas who may be staring in this? The advertisements say “stars of stage and screen” wondering if anyone had heard or seen anything?

I booked as soon as tickets went on sale, hoping to hear soon but I'm not sure how "big" the stars of stage and screen will be.
