It wasn't me I swear! I haven't been yet! What seat did he pick in the end? Asking for a friend . . . To help your friend - for male nudity, far side of the stage area after entering, front row, extreme end, next to the band area. The cast strip in two rows and that seat will let you see the second row (who are more concealed behind the front row). That also lets you glimpse around the back to where the cast change between scenes. All the first three seats in that row are good. Three seats in is worth a try too as it might give you a slightly better angle (and you're much more likely to have the cast sit on your knee during the show). Thanks. All booked. I mean, I've let my friend know.

I enjoyed it. Not as much as I thought I would, but definitely a solid 3 out of 5.

Due to illness last night’s show cancelled and this afternoon. Despite Todaytix chasing producers, they were not informed so could not inform customers. Venue tried to email customers it knew about but this did not cover Todaytix. Wasted journey.

Venue tried to email customers it knew about but this did not cover Todaytix. Wasted journey. They seem to be struggling with illness. I've seen it twice. The first time both the black girls were ill and, because one understudied the other, they had to rejig the show - cut "White Boys" and "Abie Baby" was totally changed. Second time both Woof and the girl that sings Good Morning Starshine were off. I want to go again but really want to see the whole cast.

Adam Dawson was a fabulous Woof...
Has anyone seen him in the other tracks?

Well. The title is spot on, there's a LOT of hair on show. I didn't notice any split ends though (not until the end of act one at least, fnar fnar) so the cast obviously condition regularly.
There's also a LOT of songs too, the show don't half go on. There's a Spooky Mormon Hell Dream section which seemed to last longer than the actual Vietnam war but it does give the cast a chance to waft about with a sheet for about half an hour which is nice for them. It must have cooled them down.
The cast are uniformily excellent but special mention must go to Andy Coxout as Berger and Robert Metson as Claude. Andy in particular was the best singer, you could hear every word (some of the others were fighting with the band a bit) and it was lovely of Natalie Green and Laura Johnson to treat us to a competition as to who could sing the loudest AND emote the most during the show. My eardrums declared it to be a draw in the vain hope it would end.
I'd hate to be the person who has to take all the ribbons down. The band were sensational. The nudity was smashing. Andy really does get his co. . .

There's an obvious lack of chest and armpit hair. I pointed it out to "Claude" at the end of the show but they can't resist waxing....

Had a great time being part of the tribe this evening!!
Was in the red zone & loved it!
This was my 1st time ever with the musical (of course knew some of the songs!) & enjoyed it, some great staging & performances with Andy Coxon a real stand-out!
Nudity & getting to dance on stage at the end was lots of fun, also loved the cool bar setting!!

To confirm, this is actually the Hope Mill Theatre production which ran at The Vaults London, not a new production for the tour, which is incredible news. Well done the the team behind Hope Mill.

Oh wow, it's playing actual theatres! For some reason I thought it would be playing like smaller venues, like underground low-key kinda venues like The Vaults. Wow. Get that coin in Hair!

Looks like it's on priority sale for Theatre Card holders but any date I try to select (after signing into my account) it says not a valid date.

Strange. £16 for ATG card holders on opening night for top price stalls in Manchester, £19 premium seating. That'll do nicely!

Just booked now for the opening night at the Liverpool Empire. £16 for the ticket in my preferred seat. A brilliant bargin for a night out at the theatre as I never managed to see it at Hope Mill. Well done Hope Mill, it’s great that more people are going to have the chance to see this production.

Can't see this filling the barn-like New Theatre here in Oxford.

I saw this production at the Vaults and it was terrific - as the whole venue had been transformed.
I am happy to see this touring - I love the show, but I always wonder how it will transfer from a very small intimate fringe venue underneath railway arches to HUGE venues such as the Liverpool Empire! To me it will be a totally different show - no traverse staging like at the Vaults and I assume a largely different cast. I cant see the whole of the audience up on stage dancing with the cast at the end like at the Vaults where is was on big party.
I'm sure it will be great but it cannot be the same production.
