Yeah, we haven’t hit the ‘targeted desperation offers’ stage yet so I’m sure it can limp into the new year quite easily. Interested to see what the producers ‘enough is enough’ limit is?

The writing will be on the wall when the seat filler emails start coming through (which they will) and that's when I'll go

As a Gen Z rep, absolutely hated every second of this outside of the song about being ghosted on dates which had strong vocals and great choreo.
That saying the leads were fantastic and I hope to see them in more!

That way I can leave at the interval if it’s as dire as I’ve heard from so many. This plan has a major flaw! All of the decent tunes are in act 1 (bar the passable ballad Leesa gets) you may well get lulled into a false sense of security.

I thought it was the act 1 closer? My bad. It was most definitely the strongest song.

🤷♂️ no amount of uptight nitpicking will make it any better.

I feel like this is gonna close within the next couple of months I’ve just seen a video of one of the leads telling people to support new musicals and not to wait etc They made it clear that they were *not* talking about their show, and were actually referencing Cake. Why Am I So Single? appears to be selling quite well, actually. Very full theatre this evening for a Sunday evening, with full standing ovation, and relatively spotty availability for the rest of the month across all sites. Jordan was on tonight as Oliver; interesting to see a very different accent be used. There was a moment where the pink bow didn't fix properly onto their dress and fell off - which was sad as you could see it threw them off a bit.

Well I loved this the other night. I think it’s far more self aware than people on this thread are giving it credit for — they literally acknowledge at the end at how ridiculous it is they’ve moaned about their lives for 2 and a half hours considering their privilege. The comedy is definitely niche and I can’t see it appealing to regular punters — it feels theatre-fan specific. And it’s also way too long. This could’ve been wrapped up in a lovely little 100-minute straight through show. But the songs were serviceable enough, performances were great, and I had a blast.

Rush on TodayTix got me row B of the stalls (4th row). Top two levels looked closed.
Navel gazing, 4th wall breaking and meta - i can see why people arent enjoying it. I really did like it but boy it needs scissors.
I was impressed with Jo Foster and Noah Thomas.
Certainly looking forward to the cast recording.

Popped along the this on Wednesday night, thought it was a fun piece of camp musical theatre!
It's not a study really, feels more like a song cycle, but that's not a criticism, as the ridiculously successful and great SIX has the same feel.
The 'human household items' but actually works really well. It's silly, it's fun, it's nonsense. I like all of those things. Quick shout to the cast who work really hard when required to do so. They definitely elevate the show from a fun two hander to a proper musical.
Songs are a mixed bag, by design rather than by accident. The story, loose as it is, asks for musical changes as they move from present day to the past, and, even though only a few of the songs would make it on to a 'favourites' playlist, all are still polished, edited, rounded as you'd expect from such a talented music writing team.
The humour doesn't always land, but that's because it's sometimes in your face, then sometimes a dry, quick comment. The sort of show you'd pick up more and more jokes with repeat viewings.
Crowd was an interesting one, I expected a Heathers/Six/Son's a Queer type audience but it wasn't at all. A lot of groups of older people seemed to be in the Garrick on this particular night. I wonder if there's deals being offered or does the Garrick have regulars that pop along to anything they show. Either way, that may have added to some of the jokes not landing squarely.
I'm surprised it's getting as long as run as it looks to be getting, but I'd go again if I were free and ticket was reasonable. It's a fun musical, self aware, great leads, full of in jokes for MT people/fans to enjoy. Songs are strong, if not quite SIX level. I personally loved the staging of it, lighting and direction of the 'set pieces' was well thought out. In fact, the strength of the cast alone gets this a recommendation from me. Even though it's not a dance musical, the choreo is excellent!

I'm 69 years young and I definitely was not their demographic despite loving Six and seeing it for the Sixth time in January.
WAISS? was too long and in too large a theatre. I couldn't make out the lyrics to a number of songs as the diction was poor, so I never really recovered from that. There will only be a limited number of Six mega-fans who can keep it going; I was kind, it seems, when I gave it a year's longevity.

Always sad so see people lose their job. But the show just was not ready for a West End run. I hope it is not the last we see of it and they rework it little bit. Because I felt like there is a good 1.5h show in there.
