I can see him doing a London stint before someone else taking over the role! Willing to eat my words if it does end up being a tour and he trucks rounds the country with it 😂

I can't imagine Ramin would do a tour, surely? He went to Broadway because the money's better than the West End That’s what confused me I didn’t think he would do a UK tour. Unless he’s doing a London stint and someone else is taking it on tour. When is this due to be announced does anybody know? He also said he wouldn't return to phantom and then did Italy. So wouldn't be the first time he has done the unexpected. He has toured the UK before (albeit not recently), and if its a role he wants to do or is maybe co-starring one of his friends, or there's another reason he wants to do it then I'm not surprised. I'd guess its more of a handful of venues type tour followed by London rather than a full year long UK tour

J&H (and Wildhorn overall tbh) has always been a guilty pleasure of mine but I'm not sure if Ramin can elevate what's always been a fairly bland, ballad-stuffed book.

Love Ramin and love Jekyll & Hyde but a UK tour of this show starring Ramin doesn’t sound like it’ll do good business. I’d personally book tickets for the nearest venue but I can’t imagine many other people will.

Granted that was one nighters but he definitely has a fan base, and he has been away from the UK for best part of a decade (aside occasional London centric concerts). Whether his fans have moved on with him being away so long I don't know. Not saying its a guaranteed sell out, but it's not the worst idea either. Also depends who is costars are.

As you said, those were one night events in a select few venues. He definitely has a fan base, which includes me, but a year long tour across the country is a different kettle of fish all together. The last tour had a very famous leading man and had West End aspirations yet flopped pretty hard. I hope it sells well! I love this show and think Ramin will sing the sh*t out of it.

I agree, I think if it's a year long tour it will struggle. But if its more like Anything Goes for example with a few venues then into London it could work. Will be interesting to see.

I wonder what we can expect from the staging/set. The 2010s tour was painfully barebones though it had some interesting song choices like keeping the East End Facade reprise and having the wedding-goers sing Requiem.

With Ramin announced to be making his opera debut in Washington DC in March, Pirates of Penzance in New York in April and Titanic at Encores in New York in June I'm guessing if this is happening its late 2024, or Ramin isn't involved.
