I'm surprised they're going to the crummy Arts and not say the Ambassadors or @sohoplace.

It's a Fringe show. It would make sense for it to go to a Fringe style venue - which works well for Six and Choir of Man.
Soho Place entirely unsuitable for it too.
Ambassadors I guess a possible.

They really milk the Titanic. Maybe soon a (short) musical about the Titan expedition?

I can’t believe I’m saying this but the Arts is absolutely the perfect venue for this. It’s a ridiculous show with stupid humour, but it’s absolutely brilliant 5 star entertainment.
It’s become a huge cult hit in New York, hopefully it can do the same here.

Its not going to the Arts, a different west end theatre! Praise be. Though must say while I enjoyed this, I found it massively overrated. I think it had been hyped up so much by friends that had seen it that I was expecting something life changing. The humour to me was mildly amusing (they can put that on the poster). Though everyone around me was literally dying laughing so what do I know. Also how can you do a Céline musical and omit her three best songs, even if one was a cover. (That’ll be Think Twice, Power Of Love and All Coming Back To Me). Anyway, do wanna give it another go to see if can “get” it like others do so will attend!

I'm always amazed to be reminded of the fact that Twink Twice, despite being a mega hit in the UK, didn't do much elsewhere. I believe even Céline barely performs it. Shocking! I'd also have thought the Arts was the perfect place for this! Keen to see it but they have to get the right person as Céline!

I would imagine It's All Coming Back to Me isn't in Titanique because they couldn't get the rights from the Jim Steinman estate.

if Marla doesn't come over to do it, I can't lie that I'd love to see Christina Bianco!

Maybe that's also the issue with Power of Love!? Marla explained the reason in the Las Culturistas podcast, and also that &Juliet took the rights to “That’s the Way It Is”… the original opening was “All Coming Back…” as is visible in industry reading clips posted on YouTube.

I'll be curious to see how this does in London. I saw it in New York; I went in with an open mind, and was rather disappointed. It grew quite tiresome quite quickly, and I didn't think it was as amusing or as fun as it should have been. On the plus side, it was a short evening in the theatre and we were at the Gramercy Tavern by 9pm.

I’ve been seeing clips of this on tiktok and they have me in stitches so I’m definitely getting myself a ticket for this! Hopefully Marla will transfer with it, she’s fantastic.

I saw it and I think it thinks it’s funnier than it actually is. I know I’m in the minority, but the cheese stands alone…

Marla's actually already left the New York production. As co-writer she'll always be involved in any incarnation obviously, but her replacement Nicole Parker is currently nailing it. As a rare performer who spans both impersonation and musical theatre (like Christina Bianco) she's got Celine down to a T.
