Surprised not to find any comments on this (unless I've missed it somewhere). Saw it last night and thought it very good. Two tender and moving performances from the leads and strong support from an all female cast. It tells it's story very well and I found myself suddenly and unexpectedly reduced to floods of tears in recognition in the second act. Yes it's a little on the nose at times in telling you things, but it's a play that's full of love and compassion. Only 60% full strangely for PRIDE month and a piece that has had good reviews. You have until the 24th to catch this little gem.

I have to disagree with the previous comment. I attended last Friday and left at the interval. I did not enjoy the acting much and found the writing terrible and simplistic. There is a line of dialogue spoken by the child saying something like: "now women can get married, get over it". Well, exactly, I couldn't see the conflict here and if they took that advice there would be no play, which might have been better.
