Really loved this in New York, so very glad it's making its way to the West End! I wonder if they'll try and bring Alex Newell with it, their performance of Independently Owned is absolutely showstopping (literally), I struggle to imagine anyone else selling the song on quite the same level.

I'd heard of the show via social media but didn't know much about.
So just listening to the music.
Really enjoying it. Nice tunes and it sounds great fun.
I'm definitely going to see it.

In NYC now & this is the musical we have had to sacrifice (nominated musicals aren’t doing a Sunday matinee pre-Tony’s) so this is good news!!!

Jut watched a clip of Alex Newell perform a song from the show on The Voice America and I was blown away not only by their voice, which was sensational, but the song, which I absolutely loved. I know nothing about this show apart from that one performance but I'm sold on seeing it when it comes and I really hope Alex comes with it!!

Just seen that Dr Strangelove is going into the NC from October 2024. Unless they are waiting until 2025, or a limted run prior to this. |

Interesting. Hope they’re not having second thoughts.
Its average ticket price on the Broadway grosses has never really got much above 70-80 dollars. Which (over there) implies the heavy discounting and papering they did for opening is in fact ongoing.
Guess we’ll see!
