I do hope so and I'm sure after today's performance they picked up some new business.

Does anyone know why there's hardly any availability for 24th July at 7.30pm? Every other performance there's plenty available.

I'm a bit surprised to hear they are extending till Jan...can they really keep demand until then? It already feels like demand has been slowling a little bit sadly.

Thought it was pretty average when I saw. Plot got bogged down in second half and I got bored. Much preferred the light tone of the first half.
Also wasn't amazed by Sam's vocals. Seemed a bit pitchy at times.

Was the extension a slip of the tongue and Zizi Strallen meant to say 31st August? I think she said 31st January, which is a Friday.

I saw the show last night, with an understudy on for Sam Tutty - who was good. The book for this is really good - snappy & funny and moves with great pace, but sadly the music really let me down. Its all very similar, and often either repeating the contend of the scene with less impact (the tinder song) or coming out of nowhere and feeling kind of disconnected to the actual story... and (i know some people don't mind this) but they're not memorable at all.
I enjoyed it, and the performances were great - but i'm glad i got a cheap ticket & dont think this is anything wildly special sadly.

I saw a tweet yesterday- apparently they'd reached the milestone of 100 shows!

Keen to see this one - anyone have experience of how difficult Rush tickets are for a Saturday evening show? Shall I just fork out for a full price or am I likely to pick up Rush tickets?

I had no issues on a Sunday matinee, and it is always on tkts too. Wouldn’t have thought you’d struggle to get a decently priced seat. Its certainly worth it imho.

I don't think so, as the leads probably have holidays booked and they want to avoid show cancellations in case the main understudies get ill.

So I believe they released an EP for this show.
I have just seen on Twitter that a full cast recording is happening.

Today Tix have an offer on with seats from £15 including stalls. I've just got a ticket for the next to last performance and the choice of seats is good especially for single seats. £15 for row K of the stalls. This will be my 3rd visit to the show which has been one of my favourites this year.

I thought as it was showing until the 17th it was the end of the run.

I booked 2 £15 tickets via TodayTix. Hard to say no at that price.
Just an FYI - I think for this theatre in particular it's crucial to have a look on SeatPlan first. Quite a large amount of seats have restricted views due to pillars.

Quite a large amount of seats have restricted views due to pillars. I booked row k and the seat is next to a pillar and marked restricted. But I've sat in the row in front and the pillar is to the side so doesn't really affect your view. The reviews on seat plan all say its not really restricted so I should be OK. Its also a perfect seat for a single as no one next to you.

Why such long holidays just before the run ends?

I'd like to see this but noticed the Today Tixs offer was mainly during one or the other's holidays CAST HOLIDAYS SAM TUTTY HOLIDAY: 5th & 6th August, 19th - 24th August DUJONNA GIFT HOLIDAY: 20th July, 22nd July, 7th - 17th August, 26th August So will wait till the last week and hope for a rush ticket Thanks for that info. Looks like I will still see Sam but understudy for Dujonna. So quite pleased as I probably wouldn't go if Sam wasn't on.

Hmmm that’s frustrating, I’ve booked for August 24th but my partner won’t be keen on going if it’s an understudy. Shame they hadn’t announced holidays when I booked tickets, and I thought we’d be safe being near the end of the run.

Why such long holidays just before the run ends? Presumably using up the holiday pay they’ve accrued, (that will vanish when the show closes) like in everyone else’s job.
