Wow. A pair in row J or H Β£295 each just popped up on atg site for tonight and within I'd say 2 minutes it was gone. Makes my Β£39 front row of Grand Circle for this evening feel like a bargain!

Wow - that's incredible! Consider my words eaten.
Quite a coup - have Broadway Equity ever allowed 3 out of 4 British leads to transfer before?
Amazing news; though still wish was extending here instead.....

Wasn't Grace supposed to be doing something else? Hadestown. She could still do a 6 month contract if Sunset isn't until Autumn/Winter I guess.

Wasn't Grace supposed to be doing something else? She's doing Hadestown in London, but if SB transfer isn't until the tail end of the year I guess that gives her time to fulfil her contract.

Grace is living the dream of every new young drama school graduate hahahaah. Straight out of training- west end smash, debuting a Broadway smash on the west end then to Broadway. What a year.

I guess if something has been a smash here, their Equity are more inclined to go with it!

They better take Hannah Chamberlain with them, I doubt theyβll find someone that similar to Nicole over there.

Given that NS was given the role over a British actor, isnβt there a chance that a reciprocal arrangement could be made to get Tom over to Broadway? Tom is going with this- him and NS only. Will you let Grace and David know they need to cancel their flights?

Over the years I'd been under the perhaps misguided impression that Broadway Equity weren't massively keen!

It's less of the issue than it once was. Three actors is a small amount and I suspect it'll be covered by a few American actors doing West End or other London venues such as SJP and Matthew Broderick in Plaza Suite for example.

All of the cast of Infinite Life transferred over into the NT. The programme has a prominent note about an arrangement.

I'm thrilled for them all. But they better let us have Tom back afterwards as we need to see him in something else in the West End. He was amazing.

Iβd much rather hear Americans doing American accents tbh, especially in comedy. I think the whole equity swap malarkey will be a dead duck within a few years. If everyone else/other areas has to open themselves up to the wider world it looks increasingly precious to hold on to archaic trade union protections in the arts.

I thought some of the American accents were dodgy/forced at times (especially Grace on a couple of lines) but no one- even American who have seen it seemed to have said anything so I assumed it was just me. Iβm not American after all. Thought they were amazing tho.
