Didn't like the inside jokes/references either at the start of act 2.

Are the under 30's tickets completely gone now for this show? I was hoping to punt one for a Rachel show, but the link on the official website just doesn't do anything to the price now.
I know this has been selling incredibly, so it wouldn't shock me if they were gone aeons ago.

NB - Nicole being out ‘working’ last night winning best musical performance at the Evening Standard awards is no doubt what the 2 days off were about, as she wouldn’t have had a break.

Let's take this news 'source' with a bucket of salt considering a large portion of his news and rumour comes from this very website.... That being said, they'd be stupid not to do one considering the voices on this show

The London run ends in January then? Not transfer to other theatre? There isn't any theatres available that are big enough plus we would have heard something if they were planning to transfer.

I'll take any rumors like this at this point, if nothing else to keep pressure up for this to actually happen

Wow wow wow Incredible staging, never seen anything like it Please kill me next @ Rachel Tucker 5 stars I am on my way home. I was upper circle for Nicole, dead centre front row for Rachel! Omg. Wow. For once a benefit of being a key worker (though not key enough to qualify for blue light card 😂) Rachel can kill me any time. Though I’m not sure the audience would appreciate me taking my top off as much!

There are some 27th November That's actually the night that I was planning to go, but just had a look using the link on the website and the only £20 tickets are in the back rows of the grand circle, so I'll try and get a deal closer to the time - thanks though! I've heard Rachel is outstanding, so I really want to see her specifically at some point.

They are just £20 seats as opposed to the specific offer to key workers etc.

Seats that were released as part of the offer were still available, but made full price. I still don’t know if their wording was off with “5000 seats will be released” and they actually made more than 5000 seats available with the offer ending when 5000 were sold, or if they put a deadline on it that wasn’t made explicitly clear. (She says as someone who missed out because she had to wait to confirm dates with someone - one day the offer and seats were available, and the next it wasn’t even though the seats were still available).

Oh my God please be true! Though yes, said source, sweet though he may be, is not someone that historically has much insider knowledge. Might be unpopular here but I really wouldn’t add Rachel “bonus tracks.” Think it’s slightly disrespectful to the star, sends mixed messaging to the masses and also just isn’t really done on OLCs (though no doubt someone has some examples?!) I’d absolutely think it’s a great idea for her to record her main songs with the orchestra though, and then release them herself either as an EP or with other stuff. Kinda like Elaine Paige did in the 90’s with her Sunset songs. Very much IMHO, but I just think that’s a better way of doing it. Setting leading ladies in competition on the same OLC is to me suboptimal. (Not that I see it like that. But many people will).

They did it with the Dutch tour cast recording of Sunset - the role was split between Simone Kleinsma and Pia Douwes. CD 1 has the full show with Simone as Norma, then CD 2 has Pia singing Surrender, With One Look, New Ways to Dream, Perfect Year and As If We Never Said Goodbye.

I’ve seen this on Austrian cast recordings too.

open.spotify.com/episode/4QaAmr3IHBo7JZg7X69yUI?si=qaPG-PX_T_-AfVC7bmjoLADavid Thaxton interview^. Some iffy audio quality but lots of praise for Tom Francis and Nicole from him. I forgot he's an Olivier Award winner too - I guess that sort of acclaim wears off after a while but interesting to hear him talk about the parallels he noted about being in Passion, a show also about a love triangle was also directed by Jamie Lloyd, and now feeling like he's passing a baton over to Tom F.

I was there last night and there is little I can add that hasn't been mentioned here already.
While some of it was baffling, most of it was brilliant and it was an easy ***** from me.
Nicole is giving one of the bravest, most nuanced and frightening performances (for all of the right reasons) that I have seen in some time. That last 10 mins.....as thrilling as theatre gets.
Seeing Rachel in December and can't wait to experience it again.

I know we've already been going round and round the houses with this, but the show is now selling out nightly, including lots of upward dynamic pricing - surely they must be considering how/where/when they could do a second season in London? Simply from a business rather than (the more important) artistic point of view!

Simply from a business rather than (the more important) artistic point of view! The big question is both who would be willing to do it and also theatre availability, the Savoy won't be available anytime soon and I imagine you wouldn't be able to get a big orchestra in one of the playhouses.

I’m hearing Michelle McManus at The Peacock, but won’t fight anyone who disagrees…
