Original London Into the Woods cast was: Julia McKenzie - Witch Nicholas Parsons - Narrator Imelda Staunton - Baker's Wife Patsy Rowlands - Jack's Mother Clive Carter - Wolf/Cinderella's Prince Eunice Grayson -Cinderella's Mother Ann Howard - Cinderella's Stepmother Ian Bartholomew - Baker Liza Sadovy - Lucinda Jacqueline Dankworth - Cinderella Tessa Burbridge - Little Red Riding Hood Richard Dempsey - Jack.
Brilliant staging in a white semi-circle with lots of doors.
Back to topic: I'd like to see Man of La Mancha, Mame, R&H's Cinderella, Children of Eden, Metropolis, Next to Normal, Company, Follies, and Brigadoon.

Mornin' george! Yes, I did! Clive Carter was in it. Now let me think who else... Your little idol was in the one at the Donmar, wasn't she? (You still haven't told us if you like acting and sing in musicals yourself... ) Yeah the Donmar also had a good cast too! Especially as Little Red Riding Hood! Wish I'd seen her in the other shows she's been in too, along with Funny Girl. And noooo, I don't like signing at all! I'm more the production side of musicals! So hopefully I'll be on a production team as a producer, casting director etc. of a show in the future!

I'd love to see a Me & My Girl revival. Wasn't there rumour of that with Damien Lewis?
Also Follies, My Fair Lady, Sunset Boulevard, Evita and Legally Blonde revivals would be great too!

My favourites for revival would be: Love Never Dies Me and My Girl and after seeing John Dagleish and Katie Brayben(?) sing from it at RFH this year I'd be happy with them to be in any revival My Fair Lady - yes I think I'd be happy with that too Memphis - shuddered that it closed as it was a huge highlight for me Camelot - if done well I think this could be fab Rock of Ages South Pacific

It's clearly time for a revival of 'Hans Andersen'. Everyone knows that.
Oh and not technically a revival I suppose, but why hasn't the UK had its production of 'The Boy From Oz' yet? My waters tell me this would be another stonking lead role for Killian Donnelly.

She Loves Me. The current Broadway cast and production. Its absolutely sublime Seconded. I'd LOVE to see Zachary Levi over here, but I don't think he's a name to put bums on seats. I also wouldn't mind seeing it with a fresh West End cast. I enjoyed it a lot eons ago with Ruthie Henshall and John Gordon Sinclair and still think it's a charming little show. And YES, that revival of Me and My Girl, please, with or without Damian Lewis (preferably with). While I don't care much for Follies myself, I do agree that it seems a few Sondheim shows (especially Into the Woods) keep being done while others haven't been done for ages. I could see this being a typical Menier/Chichester-going-to-the-West End thing. Would also quite like to see Oklahoma! again. The NT production with Hugh Jackman feels ages ago, too. Or a nice big proper revival of West Side Story like they did on Broadway a few years ago.

I've been listening to the 2010 Broadway cast recording of Promises, Promises and I think that'd be a good one to revive at either Chichester or Regent's Park,

I've just seen clips from The Wizard of Oz and remembered how much of a great show it was! I'd love ALW to revive this, and I'm sure if he needed to fill the palladium this would be a good filler for around 6 months?
Also would love ALW to revive Sunset Boulevard too, again, even if it is for a limited season

Also would love ALW to revive Sunset Boulevard too, again, even if it is for a limited season Wizard of Oz likely won't be revived, it wasn't a financial success when it opened originally so it's unlikely to be considered filler Sunset won't be revived either, it's only just been revived

Sadly, even though I found it charming and good fun, I can't see The Wizard of Oz being revived anytime soon. A tour though, I could see happening. It is a family favourite and I could see it doing better on tour than it did in the West End.

Me and my girl with taron egerton If he could sing, then that would be great casting! He was brilliant in Kingsman, not seen Eddie The Eagle yet.

I was shocked the wizard of Oz finically failed. It was fantastic and is perhaps the most well known musical of all times.

Yes to R&H Cinderella- the 2013 Broadway production was magic, and I feel like it could work especially well at Regents Park Open Air

I think The Wizard of Oz would do well on tour, but it seems very tech heavy and relies a lot on a rotating stage and drum roll, so the set would have to Change anyway. It's a family show, so appeals to everyone. It could be a good limited season.

It's a family show, so appeals to everyone. It could be a good limited season. A US tour is just finishing which obviously doesn't use the drum revolve and visually it looks great I remember really enjoying The Wizard of Oz when it first opened, but now in hindsight I think it was probably just an average production with a good drum revolve. I didn't find it that much better than the 2003 Birmingham REP production (which used the RSC version), just on a much bigger budget. It should probably just be left for touring in the UK or presented at regional theatres for Christmas seasons, not an open-ended West End run.

@jamescrispy94
Yes it does look quite good actually!! I agree it would be good for a Christmas season. I think if the Palladium doesn't have a new, open-ended show by next Christmas; then the Wizard of Oz could be a good suggestion? It could run from around early November to February?

It was suggested by Baz, no?, that Big could go into the Palladium. Quite a while ago.
