Really enjoyed this at the Edinburgh festival back in 2017.
But the prices in London are ridiculous - up to £150 for a 75 minute, two hander?!?

Got the front row of the stalls for that price. Excited to see this show again. Just been watching Jenna Coleman this week in The Sandman on Netflix. |

This is a great play but those prices are stupid. I’ve seen this play probably two or three times over the past few years, done either by am dram or fringe companies. It’s not the kind of play that needs a West End run.

Loved this play caught it in a London pub theatre which feels more its natural environment than a near 2000 seat barn like Manchester Opera House. Trying to make such an intimate show translate will be quite a challenge.
Initially I thought "What a brilliant idea, this show needs very little tech, cast of two, perfect for a recession where you can make top price 40 quid" but £150? Surely anyone paying that will come out feeling shortchanged?

Could be a hot ticket with those leads. Aidan has a strong fan base after Poldark and Jenna is just coming off of one of the biggest Netflix hits in recent years

Was intrigued by this but alas the cheap tickets are only in the balcony and not even that cheap for a 75 min two hander. The website says from £15 and I can only see the cheapest being £20. I am not enjoying the recent trend of west end shows costing so much but sadly if tickets are selling producers will carry on.
Also do we need to add another two 'lemons' to the thread title.

The Quays Theatre at The Lowry or the Playhouse in Liverpool would have been more suitable venues than the Opera House in the North West but maybe the casting will pull audiences in.

Booked front row in Manchester for £40 (fiver off with a theatrecard.) London equivalent £85. 😲

Yeah was about to say, Lemons^5 would work! (Or Lemons*5?)
I was excited about this, but yeah. £££. And I find the HP a really uncomfortable theatre with a lot of rubbish seats. I’d like to see it but will wait to see if discounts happen, I’d have happily paid £40-60 in advance for a reasonable seat, but not three time that!

Booked a £25 ticket in the Circle. I enjoyed watching them on stage in Lieutenant of Inishmore and All My Sons.

Booked for Brighton, including the train it was £35 cheaper than London for an equivalent middle stalls seat.
A day in Brighton, show over by 9:00, enough time for a beer after the show and comfortably catch a train home.

Completely agree re. the pricing. I'm interested but not that interested. The cheap seats at the Pinter aren't worth the money in my view so wouldn't even want to give them a go.

Seem to be a lot of 'special prices' for the first couple of weeks going around now. I think four agencies have popped into my mailbox over past couple of days. Worth a look around in case anyone is interested.
