Does anyone know if Lizzie bea who is playing sister robert on the UK tour will move to the London cast?
I am asking as she seems to be only on the tour till Dec when it takes its Christmas break on the Theatres websites its going after Christmas she is not on their websites.
it would be great if she is joining the London cast as she plays the part very very well.

Have to say, I didn’t love her singing choices but her acting was great. Julie Atherton was the best Mary Robert I ever saw.

I disagree. I think Saunders isn’t a good actor. She cant play anything that’s not her own invention. She’s a very good mimic though.
French is a bit better but not much. It’s always Dawn isn’t it?
I saw them tour as a comedy duo several years ago and it was embarrassingly bad. Literally gags being put out and no reaction from the audience. It was embarrassing and totally cringe but when the end came the audience stood up as if they were goddesses. The strength of reputation presumably.
Baffling.

I totes agree with Burly. She is an excellent mimic (her Meryl) and to an extent can act ‘big’ characters, but I’ve seen nothing in the last 35 years to suggest that she can ‘act’. Definitely not the Harlan Coben she was in on Netflix.

On The Masked Singer, Keala Settle mentioned Alexandra Burke playing Deloris in Sister Act soon. They have not yet announced who is playing Sister Mary Patrick after June 8th.

To be honest I’m very surprised that they haven’t announced the whole cast yet. I would understand that the cast from 10th June hasn’t been announced (other then Alexandra Burke, Lesley Joseph and Lizzie Bea) since it’s quite a while until that date but I honestly would’ve thought that they would’ve announced the whole cast from 15th March since it’s only a few weeks away until the first performance.
Also does anyone know if Alison Jiear and Carl Mullaney are just doing the dates Beverley Knight and Ruth Jones are doing?

I’m hoping that they’ll put an announcement on their social media for the full cast for Bev and Ruth’s run either this week or next week because the show starts in a few weeks. I can wait for Alexandra’s because it’s quite a while until the summer. I’m just really surprised that they’re taking forever to announce the full cast because the last London cast was announced two months before they opened. |

I know I probably mentioned it in my previous post but does anyone else not think it’s strange that the full cast hasn’t been announced yet? I understand that it might be a while until the cast announcement for after June 10th but since the star casting for Bev and Ruth’s run has been announced I would’ve thought that the ensemble and the rest of the cast would have been announced by now.

I’m probably wrong and I wouldn’t book based on this; but seems funny to me that the run ends during Whoopi Goldberg’s month off from The View. Maybe there is a big name Mother Superior to be announced.
